An Adjustable Transfer Drive Gearbox is required to drive the Ware Transfer.  It controls the speed, synchronisation and spacing of the bottles through the transfer unit. These gearboxes are mounted onto the IS machine conveyor extension, or onto a D A Oldfield Ltd. Conveyor End.

• A three axis adjustment allows for height and horizontal positioning ensuring correct operation and contact to handle a range of container sizes.
• There are two choices of gear settings incorporated for either electronic selection of transfer finger spacing or pick-off gears for mechanical setting of transfer finger spacing.
• A slave motor, controlled by the master electronic drive system, is required to drive the transfer unit via the gearbox to synchronise it with the production requirements.   
• This gearbox can be installed on IS machine production lines with electronic timing and servo motor drive. It can also be used interchangeably with all D A Oldfield Ltd. produced ware transfers.

A Fixed Transfer Gearbox is used to drive the ware transfer. A fixed gearbox type STK 9050 is mounted onto a conveyor end type STK 9012 or STK 9033 and driven by shaft.  The conveyor end relative to the transfer unit is set at a predetermined working position.
