Conveyor Belts

Metal conveyor belts are used for transporting hot glass containers from the forming machine into the Lehr.  We supply conveyor belts for use on the IS machine conveyor and the stacker cross conveyor.  There are two main belt specifications:  woven wire and inverted tooth link chain belting.

 

 

Variations of Conveyor Belts

  • Woven wire can be supplied as Cordweave 4 or Balanced Spiral made from high grade carbon steel in a choice of widths, common is Nominal 6” or 8” width
  • Inverted tooth link chain belt ½” pitch, for more exacting or high speed production, is supplied in a choice of 6”, 7” or 8” width.  The belt can be made up with “ALL LINKS” across or with “LINKS AND SPACERS” across.  There is the option of head protector links to cover the riveted ends of the cross pins.  This type of belting does not slip and can be set to give exact spacing between containers.
