About the Advanced Loading System

The Advanced Loading System (or ALS) fits into the production line between the shear mechanism and the gob distribution.

It provides 2 key purposes:

Firstly, to achieve the accuracy of the gobs which drop between the sheer mechanisms and gob distributor to aid loading of the machine. The ALS is equipped with different sized tubes, along with different centres to aid matching the machine centres. In addition, the ALS can also come in Single, Double, Triple and Quad Gob.

The 2nd purpose, is the ALS system will speed up the gob loading on the machine, which is important on high-speed running machines.

This process begins with sucking the gob of glass into the loading area in to the funnel box, and then accelerates using controlled air and oil into the gob distribution.

Additional Info about the ALS Machine

The system comes complete with mounting brackets which enables you to position the location of the machine to the centre of the orifice. In addition, the system has height, X, Y and variable speed controls for each gob of glass.
