About the Plunger Chuck

 

The Plunger Chuck is found on the Feeder and its purpose on the production line is to push molten glass through the orifice ring to create a gob of glass.

 

Plunger Chucks can come in a variety of different sizes to fit machinery and can also be set to different centres. To suit single, double, triple and even quad machines.

 

Whilst Plunger Chucks are fixed on the height, they can be controlled either manually or through Electrical Loop controls.
